looks the same as brand name and performs the same. love to read by this lighting, so much better for your eyes.
much needed lighting December 1, 2008
I have owned the verilux standard lamp for several years. (My husband is a diabetic with very poor eyesight, but he loves to read.) When the bulb eventually gave up, nothing else came up to its performance. I bought a replacement bulb and once again he's happy.

I have used this item before but this is my first purchase from this store. I have installed the replacement bulb and it seems to work as efficently as the one it replaced. I am happy to have this bulb so that reading will be comfortable

Seems a bit expensive, but that's the way it is. It is bright and works with the Verilux light.
