I've tried the spiral CFL's and even the old incandescent tungsten bulbs. They don't compare. These daylight CFL's are the real deal. The 27 watt fully light your work area, they are pleasant with their full spectrum capabilities, and fairly inexpensive if you are looking for a well lit area light. I am more pleased than I expected. The quality of the light emitted is superb, you feel instant satisfaction.

The lamp provides a high output of illumination with low glare and is energy efficient. Life of the lamp is long.
