I like this lamp. It is quite small but very good value for the price. It is quite charming with its rattan shade and pineapple detailing. For a bedside lamp in a small room, it works very well.

I saw it online and tried to find it in three Target stores before I finally gave up and ordered. True, the sturdy rattan shade obscures a lot of the light, but the light projected up and down is such a warm hue that it really adds ambience to the room. A small accent that makes a big statement!

I really like this lamp for what it adds to an eclectic or 'Island' decor. It's so well-made and even nicer looking in person than in this picture. The only words of caution I'd offer are that 1) it's rather small, if you have not seen it in person--and 2) in terms of providing actual lighting, the shade is opaque and really inhibits the light from being disbursed effectively. However, if you are just looking for a nice, sturdy, pretty accent piece or something to offer mood lighting, this is a great choice!
