Black & Decker?s VersaPak tools are great for the homeowner, and to keep them running, you?ll want some spare batteries. Some advantages to these include their freedom from "memory," which keeps you from getting a full recharge and the fact that you?ll get at least 300 full recharges on each battery. They?ll power all the 3.6-volt VersaPak tools, including the ScumBuster and screwdrivers. Of course, once you buy a VersaPak tool, you don?t have a choice of batteries, but we?ve found these to be reliable and well able to power the 3.6-volt VersaPak line. The charger has a light that lets you know you?ve inserted the batteries for a charge, and three hours later, they?re ready to go. Our only suggestion: We?d like to see Black & Decker revamp the charger to let us know when the batteries are fully charged. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste

I needed new batteries for my versa-pak. these are fine at a good price and are performing very well.

I have now had my second charger fail, which also ruined the two gold batteries that were in it at the time. It must have discharged them down below the point of no return. Black and Decker, when I emailed them, refused to take any blame or do anything to appease me. I would rather throw the whole system including the cordless 'Dremel' tool out then spend another $36 on my third charger. It just doesn't work! Cheaply made with an obvious design flaw since they have since introduced a replacement system that, of course, doesn't work with my existing tools.
DO NOT BUY!!!!!

These batteries were shipped in a timely manner and were new as advertised. They work fine.

I received this product and it appears to charge my batteries, however, one of the lights on the front of the charger does not work, which makes me question whether or not the product is charging. I contacted the manufacturer and I was told that just because the light wasn't on didn't mean it wasn't charging. I am keeping a check on my batteries, if they don't charge, I will contact the manufacturer again.
Replace your battery March 11, 2008
Great for replacing my batteries in my scumbuster. I hadn't used it in a year because the battery wouldn't charge anymore. I now realize how much I missed my old friend :)
