I use this light outdoors night and day as well as indoors for projects that need a little extra light to see the details of your work.
Best 12 bucks I've spent in a long time.

Handy hat clip frees hands to work, not stumble. Bright lights cast a relatively broad beam across a room or make detail work a bit easier. Not too heavy for a hat brim, this tool makes getting wood for the fire easier on those cold wintry nights.
 Good light but.... December 14, 2008
I used this light a couple of times now and it's got good lighting. But the on/off button stopped working so now I have to remove the batteries to shut it off and replace them to turn it back on. Not a bad light but cheaply made.

This light was better than I thought it would be. I could'nt tell how big it was from the picture but it is only about 2 inches wide which is great beacause its not big and bulky like some of the others I've seen. It has 5 led lights that are extremely bright. Its great for close up light and hands free action. I use mine for work in attics, crawl spaces and working in closets. I just slip it on my hat, click it on and then take it off when im done.

This item was exactly as described and actually is better than I expected. The amount of light it gives off is incredible. I am a letter carrier and I expect to use it this winter during our late delivery days when we go back to standard time and will be working in the dark.
