Product Description The Streamlight Twin Task 3AA flashlight offers a patented LED/xenon combination, so you can choose between a super bright light (xenon) and an incredibly long runtime (LED). It's constructed of computer-machined aluminum with an anodized finish, and is 0-ring sealed for waterproofness. It also features an unbreakable polycarbonate lens and comes with a lanyard.

nice, small, but bright light November 27, 2008 The flashlight works well and the output is quite bright for its battery size. I've had larger Streamlights, which were known for durability and quality and this light appears to be no exception. The lanyard is a nice touch, for example, I have one hanging on a hook by the back door, which makes it convenient and out of the way. The only thing preventing 5 stars is that you have to press the on/off switch twice, to switch from normal lamp to the LEDs and the LED beam is better focused, producing a smaller, more concentrated spot of light, than the normal lamp. All in all, I'm very happy with the flashlight, which gets a lot more use than my other models, simply because of the convenience and performance in a relatively small package.
Good buy.. September 5, 2007 I bought this flashlight after looking at many compact flashlights. I was using a MAG 3D flashlight. I wanted a more compact, lighter flashlight and one that would give me more light for a set of batteries. This one does all that. Only thing that could have been better is the focussing ring. Turning it does produce as good a change as in my MAG 3D. The light intensity is good for a flashlight of this size.
Works well February 1, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The xenon bulb does a good job of lighting up an area, considering that it is so small. The three LEDs put out sufficient light for a small area, just like most LEDs.
The flashlight itself is a little long to stow away in your pocket comfortably, but I like that it takes AA batteries rather than AAA, which run down fairly soon even when powering LEDs.
The only complaint I have (and it's a tiny one, I admit) is that with each push of the power button the flashlight cycles through OFF/xenon/OFF/LED, and it would be handy to be able to go directly to the xenon or LED on the first push.
Excellent Flashlight for the $ September 10, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
For what I paid for this flashlight I was impressed with how far the beam projected. I have not used it long enough to determine battery life. However it was an added bonus that Batteries WERE included!
Great compact flashlight April 24, 2004 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love this flashlight. the LED's are plenty bright for most uses, and the zenon bulb outshines my old 3D cell Maglight. Seems durable, but I have never had a need to test it in extreme conditions. It is also a bit long to stash in a pocket or the small purses that my wife prefers, but they do make a lithium cell version that is smaller if that is your need. Personally, I like the cheapness of the 3AA'sThe LED's do give off a blue tint that my wife isn't too fond of that, but the trade off for 80 hours of battery life is more than worth it.
