Product Description Stick Up Bulb is the amazing wireless light bulb that installs anywhere, requires no wiring or an electrician to install and provides lighting whenever you need it. Just peel and stick the base then slide in this revolutionary light bulb. That's all you have to do to light up your closets, stairwells, and anywhere that you need light. Use it outdoors in your shed or under your patio umbrella to provide lighting during the evening. It's also portable, just slide the bulb out of its base, so it's great whenever you need to carry light, such as in a power outage. Designed for child safety - bulb remains cool to the touch

Great Concept, 1 out of 2 works December 12, 2008 I bought two of these and put them both in closets. I have an older apartment that has no lighting in any closets or hallways. I find that one of them works great, however the other burned out within two days. I would still highly recomend this product, as the one works great!
Great Product December 12, 2008 Very good product, the only problem is that I would like to buy the bulb replacement, but it is not shipped to APO
Ok once bulbs are upgraded November 25, 2008 I got these knowing the bulbs were useless and intending to replace them with LEDs. Once this is done, the lights are acceptably bright and last reasonably long with four AA cells. According to my calculations, the battery life should be about 25 times greater with the LEDs.
Why the vendor has been unable to figure this out is beyond me.
A Ripoff November 24, 2008 Once the bulb goes you have to pay almost as much to replace it as the entire unit. I threw it away.
Burns through bulbs and batteries! June 7, 2008 The concept and form factor of this item is great. The electronics are the only reason it does not get a top rating. It WILL burn through light bulbs and batteries VERY fast. If you used this very briefly every day in a closet, it will more than likely need a bulb replacement within a couple weeks.
After getting fed up with replacing bulbs and batteries (I have 3 of these), I decided to take things into my own hands. I went to a local hardware store and purchased a 9 LED high output flashlight rated for 16 hours of continuous use on 3 AA batteries. It was about $6. After about 30 min of hacking I had a completely new "bulb" running on 3 AA batteries instead of 4 with greatly increased battery life, almost endless bulb life, and at least twice the brightness (if not more). I'm now very happy with my purchase. I may actually create a tutorial on how to do this for others that may be interested.
I still think this is a great concept. I just wish they would come out with a Rev 2 and get the electronics right.
