Offering a lovely traditional style, the light features a white taper with interchangeable candelabra and flicker bulbs perched on a sculpted brass holder.  Ok product, but a bit shoddy January 6, 2009
We purchased a few of these lights and they work pretty well. The timer function is really nice to work with. The blinking lights that are included are a little iffy.
My only complaint is that one of them fell off of a window sill, I tried to switch it on, and the switch is now broken? The switch managed to get pushed into the candlestick housing. The candlesticks seem to be really fragile.
I am not sure the price really justifies the quality.

These candles, despite being a nice, heavy and bright candle, do not live up to the description here on amazon.com and I'll be returning them because of it.
If you are looking for a simple 120v plug in candle that has automatic settings, then this is a decent unit. The base is a nice brass-ish unit, but the candle looks like cheap plastic; what a shame. The two bulbs that come with it (a flicker and a steady on) are a good idea and it's nice to have those options.
But, the description says, "cord acts as a removable charger." Nothing could be further from the truth. The cord is not removable... it plugs into the wall like a regular lamp. The bulbs are standard 120v incandescent and while it was probably wishful thinking on my part to assume you could have your cake and eat it too, you can't.
If you think of this bulb as a tiny night stand light that comes on automatically then you're all set. But, the description is highly inaccurate.
I give it three stars out of five for it's cheap plastic appearance on top, it's relatively very high price and it's annoyingly incorrect description. (Even the picture doesn't show the cord!)

VERY HIGH QUALITY OF CANDLE LOOK. OUT OF SIX CANDLES THAT I STARTED OUT WITH LAST CHRISTMAS, WITHIN 1 MONTH FOUR OF THEM WENT BAD. WILL NOT WORK WITH A NEW BULB. DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THEM AS THEY ARE EXPENSIVE CANDLES THAT DID NOT LAST FOR ME. COULD SEE THAT A NEW BULB AND YOU CAN TURN IT OFF AND ON BUT JUST WILL NOT WORK AT ALL.

I have this candle and they work very well, but the asking price for 1 candle is awful. You can purchase 6 for a lot less. Bethlehem Lights with all the timer and sensor, look wonderful in windows year round and they come in 2 metals,nickel and brass. This candle looks the same as the ones I purchased from another.

My elderly parents are really enjoying using this worry-free candle. It makes a great "night-light" in their kitchen window sill.
