I bought this lamp for store decoration, but it's got some major flaws.
1. SAFTEY: The top lamp places loosely over the bottom half of the lamp, making it unstable and dangerous for children to be around it, as it is quite heavy should they tip the thing over or have an accident by touching it as it is hot!
2. The light bulb that comes with the lamp is weak. It does not light all the way to the top and the liquid is not blue-like as it is on Amazon's picture.
I gave it an extra star, because it is nice to look at and if you look at it without sunlight about 50% of the tube lights up with the lava, other than that it's, more than expensive, an unsafe adornment to have around the house or a business where kids are to be around.

ive had 2.
real easy to break, but as long you dont accidently knock it over, or shake it, it can last for years. (ive had my second one for almost 14 months now)
