1 out of 5 stars MOLDED!!!   December 12, 2008
I purchased this product and when it arrived it was completely molded & the paint was chipping. I called the company and they promptly sent me a new one, however, it was also molded and chipped so I wouldn't recommend this product at all!

5 out of 5 stars I love it!   August 28, 2008
I wish this was still available on Amazon. It's a great way to store wrapping paper and ribbon out of the way. It can easily be hung on a wall if you don't have a wide enough door. It's easy to use and easy to pull wrap and ribbon off.

1 out of 5 stars Do NOT buy this item!   February 1, 2008

I wouldnt even give this product 1 star - but there wasnt an option for 1 star. I bought this item thinking that it would look similar to the advertised picture. It doesnt. It arrived partly painted, warped and mangled, and is of very poor quality. Even with nothing on it, it doesnt lie flat enough to hang on the door or stand up on the floor. Which totally negates part of their description: "Hangs flat on a doorback, then move to table with easel design". I had to lean it up against a wall and it falls over all the time. Contrary to the picture, it does not come with enough dowels to fill all the holes, so there is a big hole in the middle - equaling wasted space, unless you want to go out and have more dowels cut to length at Lowes or something. I do not recommend anyone purchasing this item.

3 out of 5 stars Great idea and design, poor workmanship   January 22, 2008

We didn't really see anything else like it out there and ordered the organizer based on the design. It's all wood and looks like it would have been easy to put together if it were not for the poor workmanship. There were half a dozen or more holes in the wrong places that were filled back in with inserts. Several of them happened to be where screws were supposed to go so when you srewed them in, the inserts popped through. We were going to send it back but instead found some large washers to cover up the holes and to keep the inserts from pulling through. There were also numerous cut marks on one rail that matched the opposing rail's design. Looks don't really matter to us since it hangs behind the door.

1 out of 5 stars Do Not Buy!!!   December 5, 2007

I wouldn't give this product even 1 star. But there wasn't an option for choosing none. So I was forced to choose 1. I just received my ribbon organizer. I planned to give it to my sister as a gift this Christmas since she loves to wrap and give away presents throughout the year. I am very, very disappointed! ALL the wooden dowels provided were crooked and bowed. Some were smaller in diameter than others, and didn't sit snugly in the pre-drilled holes provided. One set of legs opened wider than the other side, and one of my legs had slotted cuts in it, which were obviously a mistake because they then drilled holes in that leg instead. The pieces were only slathered with a thin coat of white paint, the underlying wood grain still visible, and there were chips and cracks in the wood. Where the instructions specified pre-drilled holes for screws, there were none, and where holes should have been drilled from one end of the leg to the other, it was only drilled part-way. I have never been more dissatisfied. I feel that I could recreate the entire thing using better materials purchased at Wal-Mart. When I finally got it to stand, it was weak and unstable. IT ALSO DOES NOT FIT BEHIND A DOOR UNLESS YOU CUT DOWN YOUR VERY CROOKED DOWELS TO THE RIGHT LENGTH. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RIP-OFF OF A PRODUCT - IF YOU CAN EVEN CALL IT THAT.
